After seeing a series of photos and watching a documentary about these Nigerian hyena handlers, I wanted to do a painting to capture how powerful i felt what they do is and it was important to do this image justice. I had an opportunity to paint a 2 storey storage building in a residential area in Brighton so with a big ladder and a bag of paint i set about getting it done.
